Prince Kuhio Park is a small roadside park, located about one mile before Spouting Horn on Lawai Road, Poipu (near Prince Kuhio Resort), on the south shore of Kauai.
This privately owned and approximately 3-acre historic park contains the impressive Hoai Heiau, an ancient fishpond, and the Prince Kuhio Monument commemorating the birthplace of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole.
Prince Kalanianaole was the last royally designated heir to the Hawaiian throne.
In his later life, he became the Hawaiian congressional delegated for almost 20 years.
The scenic park is open to the public.
