La Mer, The inspiration is French, the fresh ingredients are Hawaiian, and the taste is simply divine…
Since 1983, La Mer has been Honolulu’s premier French restaurant. Former chefs include George Mavrothalassitis and Philippe Padovani, who have gone on to open their own restaurants. Yves Garnier, who cooked at La Coupole in Monaco for 20 years and at The Ritz-Carltons in San Francisco and Palm Beach, took over the kitchen in 1995.
Perhaps nowhere is the Halekulani spirit captured more than at La Mer. That’s because La Mer is more than just a restaurant. It is Halekulani’s finest and Hawaii’s only Five Diamond Restaurant.
The internationally-acclaimed menu features Neoclassic French cuisine expertly crafted and served amid majestic ocean views. Indigenous ingredients are uniquely blended in dishes inspired by flavors from the south of France to produce a dining experience unsurpassed anywhere in the world.
An award-winning wine list is available to complement the perfect dining experience.
